LIPINSKI TELEKOM GmbH is very concerned with the privacy of personal data. Preserving the private sphere of visitors to our website is very important to us. The statement below provides information in the handling of data that are polled and saved during the visit of web pages for whose operation LIPINSKI TELEKOM GmbH (hereinafter LIPINSKI TELEKOM) is responsible.

In the electronic world of the Internet, the collection of personal data to ensure a smooth functioning of program workflows is often necessary and desirable. It is the express goal of LIPINSKI TELEKOM to reconcile the workflow-related advantages and the privacy-related disadvantages by keeping data polling to a minimum while in any case avoiding misuse of the polled data.


Nature of the Data Collected

Please note that for technical reasons the use of the Internet always involves the collection of data though you may not necessarily be aware of their transmission.

There are principally two types of data collected. On the one hand, this involves data that are generated, usually without the user’s awareness, in conjunction with the technical process of setting up an Internet connection. On the other hand, data are transmitted voluntarily and intentionally by website visitors, for instance by populating a contact form or by subscribing a newsletter.

Data collected as a result of the technical process of setting up an Internet connection are automatically exchanged during any website visit. Such data establish no direct name-based relation to an individual, though. It may include automatic system polling to identify the type of operating system running on the device the website visitor uses, the type of Internet browser, the IP address of the Internet access as well as information on the surfing behaviour on the respective web presence. Once the connection is severed, this data is deleted or further summarised and anonymised for the purpose of obtaining general access statistics.

In order to poll this sort of data or to facilitate the visit to the web presence and to accelerate the process flow for the visitor, so-called “cookies” are used in some instances. These take the form of small text files that the web server sends to the Internet browser of a visitor to one of LIPINSKI TELEKOM’s websites, and that are stored on the visitor’s hard disk. Exchanging these data helps to identify the websites from which visitors are transferred to a given LIPINSKI TELEKOM website, and which websites they move on to.

Each user may enable or disable the optional use and acceptance of cookies by selecting the corresponding setting in the Internet browser used. The configuration of the Internet browser may also be used to delete cookies retroactively. Disabling the acceptance of cookies could make some features on the website unavailable.


Use of Personal Data
Visitors of the website for which LIPINSKI TELEKOM is responsible may use any of various communication channels to contact LIPINSKI TELEKOM if and whenever they choose to do so. Available options include letter, facsimile, telephone, e-mail or the contact form on the website.

Visitors and users of the web offer of LIPINSKI TELEKOM make a conscious decision when using these options. The data communicated to LIPINSKI TELEKOM in the process are exclusively used for processing the associated contact communication. The data are principally collected only to broker, process or redevelop the business relations between the website visitor and LIPINSKI TELEKOM. The scope of the data polled in each case depends on the specific occasion for disclosing the personal information. The forwarding of such data for independent purposes other than the contact communication by third parties is ruled out.

By entering personal data such as name, address, phone number, fax number and/ or e-mail address, visitors to the web pages of LIPINSKI TELEKOM permit LIPINSKI TELEKOM to get in touch with them. Viewing and Deleting Data
Viewers and users of web presences for which LIPINSKI TELEKOM is responsible may view, change, and even request the deletion of, personal data submitted or collected as transmitted. For security reasons, this will require a written correspondence, preferably in the form of letter, fax or e-mail. In any case, it would necessitate a unique or personal legitimisation of the person involved by submitting official proof of identity.
After their deletion, such data would no longer be used. The respective user will not be contacted again via the contact channels of LIPINSKI TELEKOM that are associable with the application area of the previously saved and now deleted data. For instance, it could involve unsubscribing a newsletter.


Data Security
LIPINSKI TELEKOM protects the EDP systems is uses for data storage from external access. State-of-the-art technology is used to protect from unauthorised viewing, manipulation and loss such personal data as has been saved.
